We just returned from a fantastic week in BC photographing grizzly, black and kermode (spirit bears), whales and both bald and golden eagles. .

What a week!

IDs Mark III, 500IS, handheld from zodiac
Manual, spot off eagle,1/800 @ f/4.5, ISO 800
Post-production- ARC, CS3

See you where there is light, or at the computer

Great profile and I like the luscious habitat you included, Only seen one in Bosque and really too far for picture. Way to go!

Some have said this a juvi bald eagle. If you know for sure, please let me know.

A very nice moment captured Chas. If you check Sibley, you will find that the underwing pattern matches perfectly that of an immature bald eagle - but not that of a golden eagle. :)

A young bald eagle for sure but, whatever the species, the image is stunning.
