Hi Richard,
welcome back stranger. Its good to see you posting...:) I like the composition; i would suggest on diffusing; and desaturing the background a little. the two white rocks catch my attention. Or you can crop that top section all together...good show...

Hi Richard Might go for the crop at the top Sure makes for a strong compostion

Love the perspective and bold colors. settings wise might want to back down the ISO since the image has lots of shadows (greater noise areas) and you are using a 100mm (plus crop factor) lens. I'm sure lots of people walk right by this image but not many are taken !!! Big Congrats !!!

Like the diminishing focus. I would cut the top right off and just have the lily-pads. Colours look a bit too rich. But an interesting composition.

very cool perspective and interesting composition. one thing no one has mentioned, i think this may have been a good situation for a polarizer filter. would have cut out the glare on the bottom pad!!

Good Idea Harold. Maybe I can try my PS filters from DvX.

Great eye-catching shot, Richard.

I'm going to cast my vote for the original post. I hadn't even noticed the rocks until I read the post pointing them out, so I at least didn't find them distracting. The burning-in of the rocks on later posts doesn't look realistic to me, and I prefer the room at the top on the original. I also didn't mind the saturation, because I think the "Primariness" of the colors seem to be the whole point.

Very nice!
