These turkeys would not stay still and I didn't get very good images of them. Ran across 2 groupings of them at the lake. There were different sizes, evidently some older than others. I don't know anything about identifying age of turkeys; maybe someone here does. I know, bad head angle, head not in focus, etc. What other problems do you see? P.S. This looked ALOT sharper before I uploaded it.....????

Turkeys are indeed very difficult, they seem to run the other way before you even get out of the car. You did a good job getting them in the open, I haven't managed that part yet. It is too bad the left hand bird is there and the stick coming out of the right hand birds back is unfortunate. You have mentioned the other problems. It is a good start though.

Anita,

The front one is nice and sharp, good DOF on him and nothing between you and him. You did well on a hard to get species. Keep trying.

Good catch, Anita, I'd like to see it a bit darker, especially the heads.
