Here's another from the spring. Not the best perch. But i liked the BG and singing pose.

Oh, I dunno. I like the perch, not to mention the whole image.

Some times I read more into what's there, but what I like about
this capture is the fact that the birds head is pretty much on the
same angle as the branch, making everything line up if you will.

That is one sweet image, Glenn, and the multicolored BG works very well. Pretty little bird :)

This looks fine to me. I also like that the birds head/body seem to follow the branch. A nice moss covered branch would have put this over the top, but you can't have everything:)

Killer BG with a great open beak pose and overall tack sharp image. Perch is fine by me.

Glenn, I like it as is. The blend of flash and ambient is great, the composition is nice, the pose adds interest, and the background completes the image.

Hi Glenn, this is a beautiful image, I don't know why you don't like the perch, is that too big for the bird? may be, but sharpness and pose are wonderful, great job.
