This is the first time I tried this one. I had too much lens and lots of vulture, so I took two shots one to the left and one to the right and then stitched them together.

I bit more room at the bottom would've been great! But light, pose, head turn, colors and detail are all excellent and the "stich" is unnoticeable (is that even a word?:o). Congratulations!

Excellent PS job, Gary. I need more real state at bottom, though. Great exposure and light, well done!

Nice PS work Gary! Agree about more room at the bottom. I sure was impressed with your energy down at the Bosque!

Very interesting technique. Love the light and exposure. Another vote for more room at the bottom.
Keep them coming!

Sometimes, if the subject is still enough, I do that technique and it works but it is very important to do not forget about the need for more room. In this case I would go for a two image stitch and then I would try to got more images of the background for adding more room at home. Terrific pose!

I agree with more room at the bottom but this is one really neat image. It shows just how handsome a turkey vulture can actually look - he really wants to show off his plumage to you. ;) I wish I could see it even larger, actually.
