Not really for critique and nothing like what Al posted :o but, since the current assignment is on behavior shots, I think I just share with you what I saw this morning (Sep 19) in a sanctuary.

D300 200-400 plus 1.4TC @ 280mm on a tripod; manual exposure mode, ISO 2000, f5.6. 1/160 sec., no flash.

Cloudy day on a trail with trees on both sides...that should explain the high ISO and slow shutter speed. Cropped for composition. Tweaked the white balance, colors and sharpness.

When she was done or couldn't hold on anymore, she just swung herself back to the tree. Sometimes she lost her footing and ended up on the feeder.

The birds? They've moved out of the way.

I have to give your little friend here a lot of credit...:eek: This is a classical example of being resourceful and having determination...:D Nice capture Desmond...:cool:

Love this image Desmond !!! Just perfect for me and critically good !!!! I know someone is going to like it a lot !!! :) Those little guys are amazing and efficient going after bird feeders !!!! ..... btw do they make squirrel feeders :)

Actually a black squirrel. Tons and tons of them up here in Canada.
