Just got back from spending a weekend with some gorgeous Snowy Owls. This image was created the first day as the Sun was getting low in the sky nearing sunset. I removed the yellow cast from the Sun as I like the white of these stunning raptors. I cropped this as I clipped her/his front wing. I may try to rebuild it later...

What a magnificent creature! I love the eye, light, and detail. I'm not sure about the cropped wings.

Wow, this is a beautiful close up Jody, I love the whites as well and I like the icy blue in the bg:cool:

Agree with all the positive points below, a really striking image:D. Pity about the clipped right wing at the top.

Nice eye; with good details..I thought that I would have liked to entire owl in the shot..But this has lots of impact.

Nice Grab Jody - the blue bg makes me think of a watery marsh... I'm guessing it became blue like this during the colour correction on the owl? or was it just the normal saturation processing for the picture?

It was ice. That was the colour of it. Thanks Brandon! :)
