Thorns Of Frost

I was out on this cold winter day looking for different items to take some images of and came across this fence that had lots of frost and when you looked closely at the fence the frost looked like little thorns.
I haven't worked with a lot of B & W but would like to learn more on the subject.

Hi Harold, B&W is all about contrast (local contrast) Reworked your image using selective color only Boosted contrast and I think there is an improvement

I have found LR an excellent program for B&W conversions Lots of control for minor changes and all very intuitive Should give it a try Did B&W for many years and find it more challenging than any other type of photography !!!
