Richard I love the comp on your shot and the bends in the wire perch and how it flows with the bird also a nice variation in bg colors the shot is lacking in fine detail you could of afforded a lesser ISO which might of helped considering your shutter speed. Is this a big crop? I think this is way oversharpened. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Richard,
Very little details and looks a little soft as well. I wish the top wired was not there to allow the bird to look out to the distance.....
Do you have one facing the other direction??
Thanks!

Hi Maxis,
I do have some images of the same bird facing the other way, and here's one with, as I understand it, the changes you suggested. I removed the top wire, and cropped it horizontally, as well as, hopefully, better sharpening on the bird.

Given that I grew up with wire fences, I know that something is missing on the wire but others might not. There seems to be some noise.....perhaps oversharpening and/or a large crop?
