Pointing straight up in the canyon at this formation gives you a quasi miniature view of something resembling Monument Valley. I had to handhold as I could not get the angle I wanted with the tripod.
Used viveza to bring out detail int he lower end of the image.

Intriguing contrasts in shapes, forms, lines and colors. I am guessing that you have better detail in the bright yellow area in the TIFF file.

Interesting Michael. Almost looks like lava flow in certain spots. Very cool.

Hi Michael,
The brighter spots are a bit distracting..........toning them down will IMO make a very pleasing comp and contrast play. I've debated removing a bit off the bottom .......to a pano crop...........to strengthen the central "wave"..........but i will reserve final judgement until the tone down.

Very nice abstract feel. I like the swirls and color variations. The bright spots could be toned down a bit.
