Very nice composition, image and exposure Jill. The dark green background compliments your pelican very nicely. the details in the feathers are razor sharp showing a good color rendition. eye contact is good; would have liked to have seen Mr. Pelican with just a tad of head rotation 1 click CW...great catch...looking forward to your next one...:cool: Say hi to Dr. Daktari for me...

Excellent Jill !!!! Those guys are hard to photograph and obtain such a pleasing image !!! Light is just right, sharp, well exposed and love the feel !!! About the only thing I would have like to have seen is a little more room and less of the oof round spots in the bg. Not much you could have done about them Will get a Big Congrats on this one !!! Proud of you !!!
