What a lovely looking owl. I wish he was looking at you but this is very nice indeed!! Very sharp for 1/10's.
Was this captive??

Thanks Maxis. Not captive. One of the family of three owlets I watched/photographed this past summer. Being active in the woods at the end of the day, they don't give me a lot of options for shutter speed.

Lovely image Steve. Nice perch and pose. What beautiful eyes. How wonderful to have such gorgeous owls nearby and being able to watch them grow.

The BG was too close to blur it more, but I like the details and colors, maybe you could try a different perch located somewhere with a better BG so you can take advantege of the fact that you have such a great bird nearby. Congratulatons!
