While searching for a good composition for this beautiful house on the cliff, I came to realise that the fence I was using as a leading line was about to fall in the ocean at a few places. I hope they do not have a 50 years mortgage on the house!

I like the mood and the intensity of the late afternoon colors.

Very nice composition. Lighting is everything in photography and shooting this scene either very early or late in the day would probably give the scene far more drama and impact.

Rene,

I don't think the light is unappealing in this image and w/o and large or deep shadows, it works OK with me. It seems it needs a CW rotation (look at the water line). Composition works well to draw the viewers eye from the FG up the slope with the cliff and fence to the BG.

A very beautiful composition. Agree with u on the fence leading up to the house. Wish there some nice clouds too.
