This image was created last evening at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum in East Islip, Long Island. A pair hatched and fledged two chicks on a natural nest, who are now practicing for the flight ahead of them, soon to come. The angle is steep, so I employed my 2x and stood back. I feel as if the head and the wing ideally would not intersect, this is the best pose that he offered. I am posting to share with you my new sharpening technique, thanks to Arthur (see my cedar on cedar which was also incorporated into the educational resources forum.). I also added canvas and rebuilt some wing tips.
