Shot in a small sream. Some unusual seperation in the blue water color happening above the leaf, not sure what caused it. You can also see reflections of the tree branches bending around the leaf.

Mike, I remember the first time I looked at one of your images like this. I can't say that I really liked it. But over time, this compositional style has really grown on me. (As a matter of fact, I was out this evening looking for something like this but couldn't find anything remotely similar along our local creek and ponds.) Anyway, now I find myself really liking everything about the images. The colors are great. The patterns are great. Just an excellent image, Mike.

You rule the leaves :)
I see a Chipmonk's head where the water separates ;)

Mike -- I love your photos...how long an exposure was this? Really nice colors.

Hi Mike,
I lolike this composition and image very much. The water has a special mystical feel to it. The colors balance very well. Simply fantastic...good show...

Hey Joanna, I don't have the file handy to check the exposure time, but I think it was around 6 sec.

This is so cool, Mike! Knew it was yours as soon as I saw the thumbnail! I too have been trying to spot some potential "MM" images, but so far, no luck! LOL!
