Hey Ted, what a background, solid medium blue, wow. well done, expect I'd like the whole thing more to the left, so I;d probably crop the right and add canvas to the left since it's a solid color.

That's a fabulous BG you got there! For me, I think it would make a great diagonal composition. I'd move the stem to the lower left corner and have the flower and butterfly drape across to the right side.

I also think the butterfly is well sharpened except for the main body area. You might want to do a little selective sharpening there.

Overall, it's really a sweet image.

Agree about sharpening the body. Otherwise the Monarch looks great. But those blue flowers against the blue background almost steals the show.

Hey Ted, I think you did very well on this and like it as is, it's interesting to see how everyone see's images differently, but that's good as you get the different perspectives. Love it as is.
