Came across a bunch of these (are they mayflies?) in shrubs along the shore at the lake and was taken by the symmetry of these two as they perched beside one another. I was less excited about the background oof leaf....so want to know what you think.

Beautifully posed, Anita! That's incredible that you caught them in a moment of such symmetry. The OOF leaf really doesn't bother me because it mirrors the one in the FG and its nicely OOF. If anything, I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more light or contrast on the two insects. Very well done, though!

Beautiful composition and BG. I think of symphony conductors. Very cool!

It's the olympic synchronized diving team setting up for the spring-leaf competition!
I love the detail in the lacy wings.... Very interesting, thanks!

Thanks, Julie, Joanna, Gus and Amy! Your comment brought a smile, Amy! Julie, I will lighten the insects a bit. I've been trying to compensate lately for my monitor, which displays slightly dark, but it's kind of a guessing game. (-:
