A pair of Carrion Crows taken with D80 And 80-400VR lens + 1.4 Kenko TC.
F11 at 1/400 with spot metering.
These two birds were photographed perched on a fence at the Car Park at the National Trust Nature Reserve in Formby, Lancashire last November on a bright sunny day around midday.

Great find, light, exposure control and eye contact(s). I might selectively sharpen the head of the bird on the right some more. Keep them coming!

beautiful shot. great light and exposure. I like the color of the BG and especially the fact that both birds are looking in the same direction. As Axel already wrote, I would try to sharpen the head of the bird on the right a little.

Thank you for your comments. I will try the selective sharpening as selected. ( Axel - thanks for moving this post; I had not read the thread categories as carefully as I should have).

These are nice. I'm with Axel about sharpening the one on the right a little more. Nice complimentary BG for these as well as good exposure to get detail in the BG. Well done.
