Found this scene in the Masai Mara in Kenya while out one day. It was haunting so I decided to create this image. It was one quick shot but it just says Masai Mara to me when I see it.

Nikon D2x, 500mm AF-S, x1.7, ISO 200, f8, 1/800, Bean Bag support.

This image really illustrates the harsh realities of life in the wild. Cool!

Africa and the Masai Mara is such a wonderful part of the world but the survival of the fittest is a definite part of every day life. Great capture and composition !!!

This certainly tells a story and this would look great in an leopard article....I'd only wish to see some more space at the bottom (so that the victim has some more space to "look into").

Despite the filtered light, I really like the starkness of this image. As per Jasper's comment, I would have pointed the camera down a bit.
