Great landing pose Alroy! Good eye contact and sharpness too. I think there's a bit of a color cast in this image. Here's a repost in which I adjusted the black point to the darkest part of the pupil and the white point to the brightest white area of the wing. What do you think?

This is a fantastic photograph. The raised wings, the protruded body position and above all, the lighting - We have a winner here. Let me not comment more, but enjoy the image. I will be back!

Very striking image Alroy and I love the flight pose. I do find the whites just a tad hot and would love to have seen a little more detail in the wing feathers but still an awesome capture and many thanks for sharing.
