An image from our photo safari to the Kruger Park last week. The air was filled with dust after a windy day, resulting in a spectacular sunset.

Spectacular it is...
Well exposed frame. Liked the reds. The two dry branches pointing away kind of balances each other out.

Love that color. Simple and effective. Well done.

You did well to get both foreground and the sun in focus.

Hi Chris,
The color certainly was spectacular and the cloud adds to the image as well. Not sure I feel the same way as Kaushik about the branch on the right as it's smaller size tends to pull my eye out of frame.........I do like the base of the frame. Did you compose other angles with just the 1 branch?

Nice image. I agree with Roman regarding the right branch. I think if the sun would have been bang at the centre, both the branches on the left and right would have helped. Overall I liked this image.

Thanks for the comments guys. Roman unfortunately I did not get the opportunity to take other angles, the sun was setting just too quickly.

Nice work Chris. I am not bother by the right facing branch on the right as much as Roman.

Gorgeous! SO moody!

A real home run here!

Edit: Unlike some of the others, apparently, I like the branches just the way they are. Frankly, I feel the "pull" of the sun itself outweighs the "pull" of any branches. :)
