'Contrast' - pun intended.

Apart from an evident colour contrast, I thought the soft small plant full of life finding its place amongst the crevices of the hard still rock, gave the second meaning too...

Hi Kaushik

This works really. The soft plant against the hard granite. Well seen.

Hey Kaushik, I think the contrast works great. Nice soft light and good details.

Good Morning Kaushik,

I must say that I really like this study in contrasts. The colors play against each other beautifully as do the textures. Only nit here is that the leaf edges appear a slight bit soft on my screen. Are the leaves particularly thick? Maybe its time to get my glasses checked. :)

Very nice -- I really like this photo, especially the way the diagonal crack pulls your eye to the plant!

Thank you all.
Yes Ed, the leaves are actually pretty thick.

Just perfect for me Love this image !!! Not sure if the frame helps or not? Imagine is a personal choice and never much liked them.

Really beautiful, Kaushik! I love the play textures and contrast in images and this one is fantastic on both accounts. I like the idea of a frame for this but I think I'd prefer one about half as thick. Not sure why...just my opinion.

I like the contrast, but I'm also seeing all sorts of colors in the granite, as well.... The green of the plant kind of helps to draw out the texture and colors in the granite which, usually, our brains just register as "grey". I see blues and amber....

I agree with Jules that the frame might be a little thick - but I see you have your signature/copyright there.... I'm not sure what I'd do with the frame, but there's something about it that bothers me....
