The exposure is good and I like the thirds breaks in the the COMP. For images like this to be successful however, they require one of two things: 1-A really dense flock that forms a tight pattern. 2- A bird or a small group of birds in a nice position in the frame (out of the center for sure) with each bird in sharp focus and one (or more) being prominent with a great wing position, i.e., wings up or wings down. This has neither so get back out there next fall and use the lessons learned.
later and love, artie
ps: Mostly semi-plovers and semi-sands. What month?
