Pigeon Guillemot

I have been after these little guys for awhile. Finally had some very nice light and some cooperation. :)
These birds are in a state park--lots of dogs and kids keep them away from the rocks near shore until the crowds are gone. I lucked out and got there before anyone was up--and the guillemots did not seem to mind me being there.

This is a very nice set up you have here. The open bill really adds to it, looks like he is talking to you. I have to agree with Axel about more room on top!

Very neat! I wanted to get one of these guys up on a rock this season but struck out. I'm jealous...
