This is a rather high key image of a Dusky Leaf Monkey mummy breastfeeding. It's young are a bright funky punk kind of orange and they gradually turn into the dusky blackish grey as they mature.

I thought the contrast of the adult & juvenile fur colours coupled with a naturally weak sky background that day made the image almost monochromatic with the orange baby "photoshop-ed" in.

They are classified as endangered but can be commonly sighted in the coastal mangrove forests of the Peninsula Malaysia. This was shot out from the car window.

This is a beautiful, tender moment! I think the colors do work with the weak background here. There are so many things I like about this. The baby's face, the mother's hands, feet and, particularly, her face looking at her baby. I would try to lighten it a bit if possible so you can better see her expression.

And the link to your other baby picture would be quite the advertisement against breast feeding! ;)

The high key aspect works pretty well here. Great moment. The tails are always problematic but I can't see what you could have done without getting to much sky...
