Image from the last weekend, near Sofia, Bulgaria.
We were standing with our 3D camuflage on a clif's edge, when the goshawk entered suddenly and alights. The image is taken when the bird flown off.

Mark II N, Canon 300mm f/2.8, ISO 250, manual mode at f/4, 1/1250.
Levels, S/H, 10% sat, 80/3/2 USM, NR.

I've chosen the composition so as the rocks to guide you through the image to the right upper corner.

I really like the pose, eye contact and wing position,I would prefer a bit crop at the bottom,
always for my taste!

Very sharp on the eye and a great view of the dorsal surface of the far wing. I think that I would prefer a crop from the bottom only to Peter's crop but thanks to all for their suggestions. And Nikolay, thanks for your memberhsip support!

Lovely eye contact and wings position. If you have pixels, I would crop it as suggested!

Hi Nikolay,
Very nicely captured in the environment. i could go with a crop.......just above the lower rocks.............or the crop as Peter suggested. i find that i even like the original presentation! This is a good thing to have so many choices.

I like this picture very much as it is. It is not only a very nice flight picture but it shows the bird's habitat as well. Thanks for sharing.
