I definitely tend to like close ups of single blooms. But this was different. I was wandering through the meadow at Jacobsburg State Park and was taken by the fields of Evening Primrose and Monarda (Bee Balm). My mind drifted back to some of the things I saw and read in Tony Sweet's books. I decided to focus in on a single Evening Primose using the Bee Balm as a background.

I like it! It would look nice printed with a poem (or other written piece) in the open space :-) I would clone out the two strands poking in in LLC.

Very nice, Ed. I wish the green part of the plant was a bit more in focus but I love the BG to pieces! The colors all work together to create a stunning image.

Thanks Dan. Thanks Julie. Your feedback is always welcomed and much appreciated. Glad you both like this image as I do.
