Hi there, yesterday while working on this Cormoran I remembered this thread so here's my attempt, what I did was focus on the head as it is, in this case, right between the wings wich I wanted both to be sharp, my quiestion is, didn't I get a good DOF just because I was rather far from the subject?
Thanks, C& C welcome!

Hi Ramon - Nice bird - have to love those eyes. Love the BG as well.

At first glance I though the horizon line was tilted a bit to the right - but looking again I dont think so.

Excellent image for the motif !!! Does benefit from the extra dof Bird is all in focus and no bg to worry about !!! Bg wise I like way you placed the bird against the horizon Its just as important as when deliberately cutting a wing or foot !!! Good !!!!

I like it all and you sure came up with a sharp image with the 2.0 converter !!!!

I like the composition a lot. Also like the use of the flash to offset the light coming at your 2:00 o'clock. Nice job!!!
