Hi Juan,
BG looks ok to me and the color compliments the bird nicely. Head/upper body seems a bit soft compared to the back part of the bird. Perhaps a little last moment turn of the head from him?

I agree with Steve that the plane of focus is in the body, so the head is slightly soft. I think the f9 aperture saves this. There are lot of details, nice colours as well.

The head looks soft compare to the body. I would also like to see a little more room all around and a touch of fill flash. The BG is outstanding!

I like the alert pose, eye contact and BG. The critical focus seems to be on the feet. I sharpened the head selectively and converted the image to sRGB. A bit more room all around would be good.

Thank you guys for all the help and advise, now seen the picture over and over I can see that the focus is on the body and not on the head.
