Taken in Spitsbergen 2006 together with Jasper Doest. It was amazing to witness the full range of behavior that make these arctic foxes so cool to photograph. While the rest of the critter were drinking this little one begged for a vacant spot. Unfortunately for this one there were none left :( which is made clear by the mother.

What a neat image. Love the look of weariness on the mother's face! The image seems to be a bit oversharpened to me...could just be my work monitor but you might check it.
