From the recent trip to Newfoundland this is the Northern Gannet location. Birds start showing up late march and stay till late Oct. Will be showing the rock to the left of this image later on, one impressive sight. Here we caught a rare clear day in July but you can see the fog bearing down on us .... in just a few minutes you could not see anything !!!
Weather wise (fog) late may and june or August seem to be best. We chose the July dates to coincide with the peak puffin action on the other side of the island.
Comments welcome and much appreciated.
