This is the time of year when Loggerhead Turtles lay their eggs. During the day they are sleeping and resting on the reefs.
This shot taken at The Breakers Reef, Palm Beach, FL

With your wide-angle lens, that means (s)he must have been REALLY close! Wish you could have gotten the whole shell in, but I know shooting underwater there are only so many opportunities, because EVERYTHING is in motion....

Nice shot.

Nice shot, from a fellow underwater photographer. Do you like the G9 in Ikelite housing?

I like the G9 though it's just a pit stop. I purchased 1 Ikelite DS-125 and will get the second one soon. Having a D300 I was just unable to meke the investment on the housing, ports, dome etc. for the DSLR rig. I'll keep this for a while and sell the housing and camera sometime down the road. You can check out some of my other shots at www.zenfolio.com/gyoss (http://www.zenfolio.com/gyoss). The Nassau Pics were all taken with the G9, bird pics taken with the D300/300f/4 and the others scuba with a SeaLife DC600.
What do you use when you shoot?

I use a D200 in Subal housing. I love the housing.Very easy to use and maintain.
The D300 will be a lot of fun in the water! And a ton of money...
I will check out your web-site. I guess I should jump in and upload an image or two.
