This is both lovely and majestic. The cub is too, too cute. It looks as if you might have been able to include the whole rock in the image with some minor re-framing... As a general rule, if an object (in this case the rock) is worth including in the frame, it is best to include the whole thing with at least a small border around it lest the image look incomplete... I have checked the original and the posting is full frame. I must admit that when taking photos, what is at the extreme edges is something I would not normally notice, being too exited at the time.
I would not like to "remove" the rock so I will try a little more canvas and see what it looks like.

The repost is just fantastic Ken, way to go! I love the poses, the comp and the blue in the BG.

If the image was mine I would get rid of the ticks. But that is a personal preference.

I like it much better with the whole rock. The grasses just in front of the rock were bad luck...
