What an amazing frit. I'm totally impressed with that red-orange swath on the upper underwing. Butterfly looks great.
The flower seems a bit hot on my monitor. Hard to tell about the focus on the flower. Maybe up the exposure time on these?

Nice image! I'm with Gail on the hot flowers. Probably due to the lighting angle, since the wing is partly shaded, but the blooms seem to be pointing straight to the sun, ending up too contrasty, especially the left and upper yellows. I'd also like to see a bit more BG to the right of the frit.

Beautiful butterfly captured well. The butterfly looks sharp. The colors of the butterfly look great. As was mentioned, the flower looks a tad hot but overall a good job here, James.

I like your composition James,
All tech. pointes have been covered. I would have prefered a little less black in the background, but thats personal taste...:D

Comp is great I like the fact that you didnt clip the bud on the left and of course the fact that the B-fly is feeding is fantastic.

The image is a little too contrasty and saturated. Lantana is really hard to photograph even in diffused light. In sun they tend to go out of gamut.

Hey Jim, Great shot with good details and I don't mind the staturation, cause I tend to like a image when it pops with color.
