This is my first post in wildlife section in BPN. Made this image in a bear sanctuary in southern Indian state of Karnataka.

Canon 30D, Canon 300mm F2.8 L IS USM + Canon 2X TC II, F5.6, 1/160s, ISO 125, hand held, slightly cropped for composition.

Let me know your views.

Interesting. I like the light on the muzzle but, really, the whole thing is a bit dark for me.

I like it. Very dramatic. I think that with the eyes lightened a bit the black fur would look great as there is lots of detail there.

If it fits with your personal ethics, you might consider eliminating the bits of fluff from the fur.

It is dramatic but without that eye contact it just looks very dark to me. I'd love to see it with the dark tones pulled up a bit so you can barely make out the rest of the face.

Thanks for your views. Cloning is one which I generally keep away from. Will consider brightening the image and repost it in some time.
