My last post was pretty bad :o, so I am hoping this one is a little better.
I clipped the three feathers on the bottom of the frame... added in PS.
BIF seems to be my biggest weakness... I have two options; give up or practice. I going to practice for one year, if I don't see a significant improvement, then it will be only perching birds for me.

I like the take-off pose, eye contact and included perch. The bird itself looks quite soft, probably motion blur. Have you tried to sharpen it more?

Axel,
Thanks for inputs.
The original have one round of USM (400, .2, 0).
The repost a second round same settings.

Nice wing position and still lookd un-sharp... Did you get the two branches for the lower frame edge from above?

AM: Nice wing position and still lookd un-sharp...
RQ: A third round of sharpening, (300, .2, 2)

RQ: Yep, I borrowed the two branches, plus I use one of the feather on the bottom of the frame to recreate the clipped tips on three feathers.

Much better with the sharpening. Next you need to learn to avoid the telltale cloning duplication. If you learn to use QMs you can warp and change the size of the branches so that your duplicity (:)) is not so noticeable.

You'll get the hang of it Raul! It just takes lots of practice.

Re-pose works much better. I have to agree about the cloning, is very noticeable.

Keep them coming!
