Love the bird, the perch, and the diagonal arrangement. The bird looks a bit dark and the BKGR is posterized...

Thanks, Nicki
BTW I think that the image is beautiful!

What is a posterized background??

Hi Niki, With posterization, there are sort of uneven colored swirlies in the BKGR. The strange thing is that when I first looked at the image, the posterization was obvious. When I looked just now after clicking on the reply notice, the BKGR looks fine.

I am not doing nor have I ever done drugs of any type, in other words, I have no clue why the difference as I am sitting in my same easy chair in the same light with the same lighting... Go figger...

Thx for your kind comments :)
@Artie....yes you are right ....bird is little too dark :(......and pinkish-bluish sky looks little posterized but i think it is not ;)

YAW. As above, the image appeared badly posterized an hour ago and now the BKGR looks fine.

A very interesting diagonal composition - even the top of the post is parallel with the bird. The background looks fine on my monitor. Maybe the bird could go a bit lighter. Well done.

Fill-flash would really have helped you out here. From what I'm reading your image is haunted!! :-)
