Hi James,

This is a beautiful butterfly with rich color but it looks a little too dark on my screen. Also the edges of the wings don't look as sharp as they could be. Finally, the background is very busy and detracts from a very pretty butterfly. The leaf in the UL and the pipe or branch or whatever that is also take away from a very fine butterfly.

If I may ask, where did you find this handsome guy?

The comp is nice and I like the small element of green. I think the image really could have used flash to open the shadows and balance the mixed light.

For me the mixed light and that stick hurt the image.
