I am heading to Viera in the morning to look for Whistling Ducks and if I am lucky maybe I will get another Caracara image.

30D, 500 f/4 + 1.4tc, 1/800 @ f/9, aperture priority, evaluative metered + 1/3, iso 200, raw, some cloning.

I think this image would work well as a vertical...eliminating most of the stuff at left. The stretch itself is quite nice.

Don, this image seems balanced to my eye as is. I would wish for a better head turn, but as a print on the wall, it would catch my eye and draw me in for a closer look! I like it. Dan Brown

I really like your image and the subject presented here.
I made a few changes on PS, just wanted to see it with less things on the way. I hope you donīt mind.

Thanks JC. I like them both but I like the ORIG a tad better. And I am fine with a HORZ. Nice and sharp and you picked the right spot to stand. And then you were rewarded with a nice wing stretch. EXP good also. Would I have preferred the bird on a perfect perch, yes, but for where it sat, you did quite well.
