Hi folks .. one image captured in France last spring in the Vosges .
The animals at that location are relatively used to humans , due to the hikers that are using that spot . One still has to be patient to get close to them ...
Got lucky with this male that crossed the plateau .

Lovely scene Andreas, with the chamois walking casually and giving you a glance. A slight head turn towards you, he does look relaxed albeit a little cautious...as he should... in the proximity of humans:w3

I like the vibrant colours here and environment, the fog in the BG adds to the scene and helps the subject stand out. Well composed, nice detail and colours.

Some might say the subject's limbs appear a bit awkward but that is the way the species walks - had you followed this animal you would have noticed the tracks left by its hind feet appear ahead of the imprints of the front feet. Especially when walking fast or running.

A nice change from the little squirrels and I thank you so much for sharing,

Kind regards,

THX Gabriela ... glad you like it .
Funny that you mentioned the limbs , I would have never thought about it .... as they are as they are !!! OK I could have asked or choose a different limb position , but then the head might be tilted different :bg3:. These things are given ...
Mostly they are cautious .

Cheers Andreas

Morning Andreas,

Re. limbs, only mentioned that for interest' sake, this is how the species walk so nothing you could do about it. Been busy learning about animal tracks for the past few weeks so I pay attention to these things now:tinysmile_shy_t:

The Chamoix looks ideal, I like the pose and the colours, the eye is pin sharp. My only reservation is the grass is a little intense in terms of colour......but I appreciate is may well have been so.

THX Jon ... yes always a matter of taste i.e. greens , actually I cannot remember or care about how they appeared to me during the time of shooting . I just edit them mostly for taste .
