Hi folks ... I keep going with my jumping Squirrels :bg3:
This time the less sporty Squirrel , as he is struggling to jump .... not that much confident as the more redder female .
Love the pose on this one

Canon EOS R 3
EF 200 - 400 IS L at 560 mm
Tripod

F 9 ; Iso 10.000 ; 1/3200 sec

Processed with DT 4.7.0 and PSCC 2024 ; had to play tricks on LHS as it was too tight , so I recropped and added canvas

Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous postings

Cheers Andreas

Hello Andreas,

A fun image with lots to look at, what cute little Ninja you got here!

I like those outstretched front feet with nails visible...and especially the ears pointing backwards... subject looks rather confident to me and must have had some speed, whew :bg3: Certainly understand why you had to add canvas, not easy at all to anticipate his trajectory!

Very nice background, helps bring him out. Reds in the coat also nice, just seems a bit of magenta was creeping in?

Overall I do like the image, great techs and I think you did a great job catching him in mid-air. If this was mine I would back off just a tad on the sharpening, otherwise no nits.

On the topic of squirrels, I am off to Kruger next week and hope to photograph some - my images won't be as exciting to view though as we are not allowed to feed them.

Thank you so much for sharing, I did enjoy viewing and looking forward to more from you,

Kind regards,

Thanks Gabriela ... glad you like it . Will take a look on the sharpening and I was struggling bit with the reds with this male and the funky back lighting , was not entirely happy , but did not expect any viewers to comment :t3.
Good luck in Kruger with the Squirrels ....

Cheers Andreas

I know I'm late here, sorry Andreas. But things improving on my side, no power cuts at the moment and connectivity better, some say after elections we go back to load shedding, I hope they are wrong...
