European Kingfisher II

Hi folks ...
Fresh stuff from the Kingfisher :bg3:
Been to a new location with quite "easy " access to some individuals , only possible in the wintertime .
All images from there are made with no influence from any human activity , not baited or something else .... luckily it is just a 100 km drive .
This one was shot very early morning on a dull day ... so I kept the edited version quite dark . Some might wish to get more color into the foliage ....

Processed with ACR & PSCC eh? looks spot on to me, colours are ideal, I like the background, the natural perch - (not the archetypal mossy twig) looks refreshing, the prey - well always adds interest. The DOF is slightly limited but the overall presentation is super.:cheers:

Very nice Andreas. All looks good here. The snow on the perch adds. Good detail on the bird, nice colours and HA. Great capture of a KF that is not baited. Well done.
