I captured this mage several years ago when Gatorland had a photographer's pass for early entry. Along the walkway one had to follow when exiting there was a exhibit of parrots. Very tight area, focusing at near the minimum distances, birds on unattractive perches. Anyways, I worked on this photo today using new tools and skills. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

What a gem - simply superb, love the colours and fine details.
You could use a little "Effects" to enhance the scaly skin if you felt inclined.

Exceptional details and colors. I have a tendency to never click if the perch isn't to my liking. I've gotta start thinking tight portraits the next time the opportunity arises. Thanks!

Hi Joe lovely portrait of this bird .
All works well , very nice details and sharpness .
Only thing I might change is the appearance of the blueish color in the beak .
