Black Throated Green Warbler

A black throated green warbler from northern Minnesota a couple of weeks ago; one of our more common summer residents but love their call. Took this early as it was still a bit cloudy and dark.

Great photo Paul love the dark background makes the bird pop. Wish it were a little smaller in the frame. Exposure looks good the yellows are tamed down compared to your last post. Rest of the details look great . TFS

Super engaging pose with the curious head tilt. As last time, very tight in the frame though. Crop needs to be loosened. Details look pretty good. Upper wing bar looks hot. I also think you could knock the noise down a bit, especially in the background.

I do like this pose a little better; I chased him around for a little while as he flew to different perches.

The original post still needs a much looser crop as it is too big in the frame. The light-toned o-o-f blobs are distracting to me. Sharpness and fine detail in both are fine.

I agree a little large in the frame, I know you guys in USA love your colours but to me they seem a little saturated and too contrasting.
