Jon:
This one works for me! Active pose, big splash adds to the drama, good head angle, nice separation of subject from BG. Like the comp, perhaps a tiny sliver off the top, personal taste really.

A nice look at this one Jon, a nice wing spread and some surprisingly nice colours. A bit tight at the bottom

Hi Jon ... a very nice frame with a high quality output .
Subject pops nicely from the water , love the water around its body and the spreaded wings .
Would prefer a central placement and a bit more room at the foot .
There is more detail to coax from the darker tones ... as an option see my RP ...
Cool shot nonetheless ....

Gotta love that water action! Nice wingspread too. Agree a bit tight below - I suspect you do not have canvas to add back there, so Randy's suggestion to crop a bit above would help. Nice details. I like both versions.

Really nice exposure, pose and head turn Jon! I agree about it being a little tight at the bottom, but that is pretty minor. I think the RP is a bit of an improvement as well. Really nice work!

Thanks very much everyone, a bit more at the bottom would have helped and Andreas' repost looks good.
