This beauty was agreeable to sit for a head shot last year at Lake Morton in Lakeland, Florida. I eagerly wait for these birds to arrive every year. The latest report has five at the lake now, I will be soon. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Perfect in my book Joe Love the soft light and all the colors. We have plenty here in Nd but very wild. I have very few shots even though I see them everyday.TFS

Hi Joe this does look great on all counts .
For me me best thing is the partially sun hit bird wit the warmer tones and the rest a bit cooler
Nice timing to get this .
Crop / comp is kind of on the cusp of being too tight for my taste

Joe:

The lighting makes it special. Tight but effective crop for me. Nice colors on the bill.

Well captured!
