EXP good but the #1 rule for images of preening birds is that the bird's head must be parallel to the imaging sensor; that is not the case here.

I'll add that a vertical would have been more attractive in order to get the full reflection. Love the hues in the water :)

With a water reflection like that I think Fabs is right. Seeing that bird in a vertical would have been even better. It's a beautiful image even if that head is a bit tweaked in the wrong direction.
