It's a yearly event that these Grebes would come into the marina and will start breeding. Most times the nests are destroyed by the passing boats or are not in the location we would like them to be.
This year the nest is in a small cove far away from passing boats. The pair had 4 chicks (not seen here) and this parent is tidying up the nest for a well deserved rest.

First time out with the new R7, still finding my way around mirrorless body but I'm already enjoying the swivel screen/tracking and faster FPS.

Processed with LR Classic/PP 2020 and small amount of denoise was used.

Nice shooting angle, soft background. Fun pose. Well exposed.

Without the thumbnail, folks often don't open the image, so please follow the site rules re: image size, etc. to let folks enjoy your images.

hi Ramon , nice image with lovely low shooting angle .
technically spoken the image does look really good , personally I might raise the exposure a touch .
hope you are getting your grips on the new toy .
