Well, haven't had a lot of time on the computer or even in the field lately and see that there's something new going on that I haven't participated in yet. Cool!!

This photo is another using my new 500 mm lens and the blubb. Pretty plain image, but my best mockingbird image yet. Seems to have more of a blue cast than I noticed before posting.... ....Couldn't seem to get noise and some blotchiness out of the sky so finally just blended in a gradient....I cloned out a few stray branches that didn't help the composition....All comments/suggestions welcome!

Hi Anita!

You made a sweet image here! Good head turn into the camera, nice detail and sharpness and composition is good as well. All I can suggest would be a lower angle if possible, See photography is like riding a bike, just hop right back on! :)

Yes slight blue cast but what's not to love here! Good going Anita!

Hi Anita,
great capture, composition and image. I like the clear blue background. You have a good head angle and razor sharp details and a crystal clear eye...big time congrats...

I like it Anita! Agree about the blue cast, but it doesn't bother me too much! Great eye contact, pose, and sharpness.

Thanks much, George, Nonda, Gus, and Doug! I'm gonna have to work on it more; that blue cast bothers me more each time I look at it! :(

Anita,
I must ditto George.
Plus I made a small curve and photo filter adjustment to warm the image up.
