This one was taken a while ago at Buckleys hole on Bribie Island, 45 mins north of Brisbane. No crop here and basic adjustments in ACR and PS. Cheers.

Sharp clean image, exposure and colours looks good. It may be possible to subdue the plant on the LHS, it does pull the eye from the subject.

Hi Jonathan. Thank you for the feedback. Although I actually like the plant I agree that it may be a little dominant for some. Cheers.

Hi Paul, the colours appear very punchy, especially the water. If you added Levels or Curves as they are both Contrast sharpening adjustments I think its clashing with your shgharpening, the subject looks tad over sharp. Agree with Jon on the plant.

Hi Steve. No levels or curves used here. I'm fine with the colours. Sharpening maybe too much.

Hi Paul ... I quite like the overall colors , albeit being a bit " punchy" .... just the blue/cyans in the birds shadows are , well I would reduce them there .
Apart from the sharpening , I am ok with the overall image .

Looks pretty much what I expect for the Heron but the blue overall could be toned down, particularly the reflection. Nice shot.
